[...] The answer is very simple: it’s the entrepreneurs, it’s the startup junkies, it’s the innovators, it’s the non-conformists, it’s the contrarians…it’s YOU, the TECHSOOMERS. [...]

I think you touched on an important point here, Mario. A significant difference between what I call the first and second generation of techsoomers lies in the degree of exposure to the "non-connected" lifestyle. The first-gens saw the transformation from an analog to a digital world. It is the second-gens that lack this particular frame of reference. So I believe there is a slight advantage in the first-gen's ability to: 1) relate to this disconnected, analog world to some degree 2) recognize areas that need improvement or transformation from an analog-version to a digital one. This ability to relate to the older, disconnected world, is something the second-gens simply do not have.

In answer to your question: I do not believe it is in the realm of thought for these second-gens to even consider a "disconnected" world. And quite frankly, they are better off this way...to continue pushing the envelope and innovating in ways older generations never thought possible. I guess it is the first-gens who are in this unique position to see both sides, if you will..........................................
And if the internet does decide to "shut off" one day, may we will hopefully remember back to our days in elementary school, relearn the "old-school" ways, and ultimately outwit those who came after us.

Imagine what would theoretically happen if this connected group were to become disconnected? Would they even know what to do? Because me, also in that first-generation, realize in myself a certain lack of familiarity with what was once normal means of communication and daily fulfillment....By the way Kevin, awesome last line.
